Some communities may perceive conflict as a good thing while others still see it as an aspect that should be avoided at all costs. For example, in the USA, conflict is regarded as a bad thing. As such, we are advised to handle conflict directly to prevent it from escalating. However, Eastern countries pe rceive openly addressing conflict as embarrassing. Thus, in their set-up, it is better to use letters or notes to take care of a conflict. Without this understanding, one would constantly find themselves going against other people's norms. Lack of comprehension of these cultural differences might lead to societies not co-existing freely. Therefore, we need to understand the culture of those we interact with. In doing so, we are able to broaden our thinking spectrum. Furthermore, when people are empathetic and try to understand why people do a certain task, they are able to intermingle freely with them without feeling tense around them.Transition: Now that I have discussed the scenario, I will make some inferences about the process of managing Intercultural communication.
